Identifying Plants on IPhone
There's nothing worse when you're camping then you breeze your skin on a random plant, then you start to rash up. Did I just touch poison ivy?? Maybe... In my case I didn't thankfully!
Anyways You're here to hear about identifying plants on your phone and not about my "rash" story. I Have always been an iPhone user and never knew this until I talked with my supervisor at work on how he can identify what's growing in peoples gardens with just a simple photo.
Here's how you can do it.
First and foremost, you need to take a photo of a plant.
In this example I took a photo of a cute red plant! All done on my phone, now the next step is very simple to do.
You just need to scroll up.
Once you have done that an interesting page will appear a page that shows time, day and even sometimes location!
The last Step is easy
That is to click on the "Look Up - Plant" once you're in there a Siri knowledge page it will tell you what plant it is! I'm not sure if Siri messes up with something like this. It would be awesome to know if such technology messes up on identifying plants, but by all means it's very impressive and I'm not a plant expert.
Thats All
I do appreciate you spending the time to read. I hope you enjoyed as much as I did, and happy camping!
